Once you have logged in, you may want to start looking for your first product to purchase. There are two ways to do this. You can either jump to a category of products and select a product to purchase, or you can use the built-in search to find a product using a keyword or SKU.

 

The Categories Menu

1. In the top menu, you will always have a Shop by Category drop down.

2. Click on this menu option and you will be presented with all the categories of products that the store has

3. The menu has several layers, so you can really drill down to what you want by navigating through this dropdown and finally selecting the category of products you would like to see.

 

 

 

The Search Bar

1. In the top menu, you will always have a search icon (The magnifying glass). Click on this icon to drop down a search bar

 

 

1. The search bar tells you to enter a keyword, sku or category. You can use any of these to find the product you want. For example, you could search for ‘pc’ or ‘msi’ or ‘9S6-B18311-033’

2. When you type something into the search bar, you will get an autocomplete list of possible searches and products. Once options appear, you can either press return to see all search results in the next page that loads, or select one of the suggested options.

3. If you select a product from the suggested list, you will be taken to that product page, otherwise you will be taken to a paginated list of products that are related to your search.

 

SEARCH USAGE

Please be aware that the search can vary base on your use of quotes around SKUs. A search that is enclosed in quotes like "NLMOB-4CBDBK" will always show the product with that exact SKU at the top, or in some cases, will only show that product.

For example:

However, a search that is not enclosed in quotes, will often show similar products, or products that match individual parts of the search (For example the keywords between special characters like '-'. This could include anything that matches '4CBDBK' in this example. Here is the same search without the enclosed quotes.

 

The Search Results List

1. Search results are listed in paginated form.

2. You can sort them using the ‘Sort By’ dropdown, which allows you to sort by Relevance, Price or Product Name

3. You can choose how many products to show per page using the Show Dropdown

4. In addition, on the left hand side of the search results, you can filter your search results using various options. Whether you want to refine by stock status, price or category, once you make a choice, the list will refresh to show the search results that match what you have selected.

5. Once you find a product you want, you can choose the quantity by using the dropdown to the right of the product and then click ‘Add to Basket'
